Yesterday, I was hired as a new life/health producer for AFLAC insurance.

No one is more shocked than I am at that statement.  I've never seen myself as an insurance agent or as a salesperson, in general.  Sales have never been my forte.  Ed, on the other hand, could sell the shirt off his back in less than fifteen minutes.  He has a natural flare

I always think of insurance as being one of the most boring things anybody can know about but I also know a few people who have made a very good living being agents. But once you get past the boring stuff you'll be fine.
(Oh, and you'll have to dress for the office! Start looking for some snazzy work suits!)

LOL. I don't know what I'll buy those "snazzy work suits" with. My looks aren't going to pass muster. I may have to get a low-limit credit card, if anyone will grant me one ((shudder)).
