I'm sending you many warm thoughts! Just think, if you WERE here, it would be warm but you would be dying of allergies with me. Did you pack layers? Tights and thermals and undershirts, etc?

Plus, you are going to see our New President of Awesomeness in person, so I'm finding it hard to sympathize with your vacation woes.

Though your DC fanbuddies get full points for getting you to to even half-watch BSG! *three cheers for them*

Maybe now you will understand why I became addicted to baths when I was a kid. Being completely submerged in hot water is the only time you can be truly warm during winters up north. Even three layers of socks could not protect my toes from the cold sometimes...

ME TOO BBQ! I want more right now. I almost almost wish they had waited to air the whole frakking 10 episodes in a row in March. It's just not enough ( ... )

Gahhh, the lone funeral pyre just KILLED me with awesome angst. As much as I love Kara with either one of my boys, I REALLY REALLY love how much she can completely carry a moment/scene on her own. Katee totally pwns that shit.

Haha, yeah it is pretty funny how Leoben basically turned chickenshit and ran from her.

And what does it mean!?!

What is she? And how long do I have to wait to find out?

This show is going to kill me with awesome Tara!!!

SHE REALLY DOES. I love that she never falls apart. She's just taking care of business!! SHE WILL DRAG THOSE LOGS!! SHE WILL!

I am already dead with awesome like Ellen Tigh.

When I saw the logs at first I thought she was going to make a raft and set her corpse out to see, but the funeral pyre at night thing was just too awesome. Wouldn't change a thing.

Ahhh, nice post-ep summary. Seems like we've got pretty much the same feeling about the episode.

At this point I really just need Lee and Kara to give each other a good cuddle. Is that too much to ask?

Ahhh. Good stuff. I'm a little confused. So much stuff in my head.

I think I heard the celebratory cheering of the fangirls. ;) And LOST next week! OMG this is like fangirl overload.

ME TOO. They sure know how to cram a lot of emotion and details into one episode. I think I'll be processing this one all week.

AND YEAH FOR LOST NEXT WEEK. I'm sure that one will involve even more 'huh' and mindfrakkery, squee!

They might not be on the same page romantically, but he is still her best friend. I love that.
Me too. You put it so well. :-)

I almost forgot how adorable the Agathons were! With the goofing around and the loving each other and their kid? Made me go all melty inside.
Hera's adorable, but I did get a rather doomy feeling from it all. Earth is a barren wasteland and they are all playing? It was weird. But I wonder if the doomy feeling I got was just from Dee. She was never going to have a family like that. :-(

Is it just me or does anyone else think they are making ready to leave this Earth a bit too soon?

That's what I got out of it. The Agathons have to live in the moment for their kid, because that's the way kids are, but Dee is stuck in a cycle of increasing despair and disillusionment where she keeps re-realizing that she'll never have the future/life she wanted.

Is it just me or does anyone else think they are making ready to leave this Earth a bit too soon?
It definitely seems like more of an emotional reaction, and not a logical decision, like if the fleet leaves sooner everyone will be less depressed. I'm sure that there is more they could have discovered about Earth and the 13th Colony with more research but it seems like they don't want to hear about it anymore. Or maybe that's all the scientific research they want to show, and the rest of the Earth backstory will be coming from the Final Four?
