Not such a big fan of working both Fridays and Saturdays these days. I keep being several days behind everyone else on watching/posting/commenting. Don't worry, I'll catch up eventually ;)
*yay* I was emotionally engaged with everyone this ep too! (well, except for Data Gaeta) and Sam's conflicts and inner turmoil had me on the edge of my seat. I'm starting to think he needs to come clean with Kara because he's going to make a huge mistake soon because she doesn't understand what's going on with him. I'm very sad for Jean :(
I keep wondering when/if Sam's going to fess up to Kara. Maybe now that she needs/wants to know who the final four are? Definitely not right after she said she'd shoot him if he were a cylon--eep!
Very sad for Jean too. I feel like I was just getting to know how awesome she was...*sigh*
Yay for Kara being less crazycakes! She acknowledged her mistake in trying to take the whole Demetrius crew and proposed just taking a small recon group instead. And she totally went into brilliant logical mode when she was taking care of Gaeta's wound.
I completely agree, it was nice to see the Kara we all know and love.
Also? I LOVED Sam being so curious about the data stream and almost putting his hand in. Would have absolutely been fascinated to see what would happen but the suspense of not knowing is probably better.
I really wanted to see what, if anything, would happen.
I too loved this episode. I'm still weary of the hybrid prophecy of Kara being the harbinger of death. What I want to know more about is the final 5 cylons being from earth? Does this mean they were created by people other than the cylons? I'm very interested to see what their history is. Hopefully next week's epi will be as good to Kara as this one was.
I'm not feeling the 'harbinger of death' prophecy much either--I didn't really like it in Razor and I still don't really like it now. It seems pointlessly polarizing when most of the fleet is already inclined to not trust Kara right now. Who knows.
But I'm very intrigued about the connections between the final five and earth!
Probably my fave of the season so far. Definitely had me emotionally engaged in EVERY SCENE and every character arc: Kara, Sam, Athena, Gaeta, Helo, Barolay, the Sixes--I actually cared about all of them.
That is what I wanted to post too .. It really is the best of the season so far.. my favourite characters all together and things happening.. *perfect*
And everybody is like "poor Gaeta".. well, yeah, poor guy indeed but he didn't listen and if it wasn't for Sam they'd have fucking jumped and instead, he "woke up" Kara and she came back from her craziness and actually had a plan this time.. so who saved the day at the end? I think he did what he had to do to stop them.. and he wasn't the one killing Six.. he was very upset but at the end he wasn't going to do it..
"I'm supposed to know WHAT?" said his face. PRICELESS.
That was so much fun..^g^.. just like the hand thing, I wanna know what happens when he does it! ;)
