"Heroes" is sort of this mind-candy show where I can't think too much about it afterwards.

That is pretty much how I feel about HEROES, REAPER, BIONIC WOMAN, CHUCK, 3O ROCK...hmm, I'd say most TV I watch other than BSG, FNL, GREY'S and TELL ME YOU LOVE ME...

True, but most shows I watch have at least one or two characters that I am emotionally invested in (whether they're substantial shows or mindless enjoyable fluff). Not all of them inspire the level of thought/meta/fannish-productivity that BSG does, but I'm used to feeling more attached to a show that I enjoy.

I think it's just that "Heroes" is totally about the story, and the characters are secondary to that - and ... even though I like almost all of the characters, there's no-one I just LOVE and feel compelled by.

Wow. That's exactly it. I've been struggling to put into words my issues with "Heroes," because I want to love it, and I haven't been able to figure out what it is that keeps making me watch it and yet not want to think about any of the characters at all the moment they are off the screen. I have kept thinking - interesting stories, and I want to know what happens next, and Hiro's awesome, but...why is it not eating my brain like say BSG???

Thanks for figuring it out for me :)

I am a bit ambivalent about Bionic Woman as well. I watched the first episode all the way through, but the parts I enjoyed the most involved Katee. Still need to watch episode 2. I will probably not record it and just watch Katee scenes online. And let me state once more that I'm so glad you're on the Supernatural bandwagon!

OMG I can't stop watching "The Office" and the cuteness of Jim/Pam, and the hilarity of everyone else.

Sigh.

I don't need another fandom. But damn it, they're so irresistable!

I freakishly agree with your TV opinions thus far. Like 96.435%.

I wish to god that Lana had just stayed fucking dead. For reals.
Word.

SPN: I usually drv it and watch about 3 or 4 in a row so I can overdose on Winchester pretty. :)

When I replay the scene in my head I'll just be smashing Kara and Lee's faces over theirs and imagining a fun mid-season-1 piloty bunk room frolick. *nods*
Heeeeee! Great idea. Maybe that image can counteract all that weirdness with the "nothing but the rain" thing. *crosses fingers*

Haha, that is because you are TEH AWESOME. Brain twins perhaps?

I like your SPN idea; I may end up doing that because one ep at a time is just frustrating!
