I read for Portia once.

Then they had these two other women read the role twice each. One of them was REALLY good. I have no idea how her vocal audition went because she came the night before.

At the end, they had us line up in groups. I was matched with an older set of step-mother/sisters. The other group was young.

I don't know what to think. :S

You can't imagine how excited I am. After I called Brett and Mom to tell them, I called Steve. He laughed his ass off when I told him I was going to be singing solo on stage. This is such a huge thing for me...

I don't really know how I feel about the story in this play - I definitely don't like it as much as the last show you saw. Cinderella is really weird in this particular version. But my role ought to be fun. I'm wondering who they've cast in the other roles... but I'll have to wait a few days.
