For the first time I have kept a list of every book I read this year[1]. I have read far fewer than usual, partly because I am normally a fairly lazy reader - I will pick up a book I have read many times to take in the bath or to read with a meal, while a shelf and a half of unread books groan at me. Does anyone read/want to read Dragonlance books? I have bitten the bullet and decided to get rid of mine. Went to Newmarket yesterday afternoon for a gentle potter about the shops. Bought a few bits for the work tombola, and did the charity shops. Museum opens on Sunday so all hands are diving in to get everything done. I was awake really early this morning and got the cafe floor swept and mopped, which felt like a good start.
