I really love being a mom! He's such a fun baby, though I might be bias.

Now that I have a baby I can understand why so few mothers choose to nurse the full year, when you go out there are so few places that have a couch or even a chair. I just found out today that my former co-worker died of melanoma. Were were not close, but I still feel so bad. She was a good person and I enjoyed working with her. She recently had a baby which makes me even more sympathetic. I know what it's like to lose someone you care about way too young. Thomas now weighs 7lb 5oz and is two weeks old! He's starting to wake up a bit as well.

We had our baby last Tuesday February 26 at 12pm! He was 6lb 9oz, Tim's weight at birth, had an Apger score of 9, a full head of dark hair and is so far a sweet cuddly disposition. Thank God! Painful contractions don't mean your in labor, or that you will be in the next couple of days. Does baby Thomas know how bad the weather here in Wisconsin is?

I had my ultrasound today. The doctor said the baby is healthy, average weight 6lb9oz and no longer breech (hope he's too big to turn!) He's also now a full term baby. Hope he decides to come out soon.
