Oh Hawaii 5-O

One of the things that cracks me up about Hawaii 5-O is how the writers are so fabulously insane. On one hand they write this great, witty, snarky banter, and create characters that are interesting and fun to watch and then it's like they remember they are also supposed to be writing a CRIME SHOW so they have to come up with a plot. And then Steve takes his shirt off and we immediately accept whatever crazy ass "plot" we just watched.

I mean, I'm not complaining. In fact I'm of the opinion that the show would be even better if Danny also took off his shirt. preferably when Steve is also shirtless But sometime I really wish the crime show bit of the show was better.

I'm not going to lie. I'm a shallow, shallow person and that approach totally works for me.

I'm not sure I remember much of this episode past Danny's offhand declaration of love in the office, when Steve decides to go after whatever bad guy we had this week.

This week? There was plot this week? I really don't remember. It was just an episode full of Steve/Danny awesomeness. We got to the end and were very "wait, what?" And then decided we didn't care.

Honestly, I think the main purpose of the story this week was to introduce a character that was a key recurring villain in the original show. I don't think you care about spoilers, but am trying to keep this vague just in case.

Yeah, I think my brain went offline after the declaration of love in the office too. But really, I love this show so much. Flaws be damned.

yeah, paying attention to anything other than the pretty people and the banter and the car conversations is usually a mistake. good thing there are all these awesome distractions.

I'm so in love with this show, it's pretty ridiculous. ;P
