I don't really understand how people remember to Twitter all the time either. I just make little life lists of things going on every couple days, when I remember. Perhaps not what it was meant for but I kind of like it.

Twitter tends to work well when you work with a bunch of nerds that use it religiously. Having an iPhone or some kind of smartphone helps a lot, to.

I kinda adore twitter's search page, just to see what everyone's talking about online. Very useful during all the political stuff! I heard about a good number of stories there first.

Tumblr's awesome because it's so simple. I just restarted my craft-y blog there because it's so basic and I don't have to deal with all the potential extras. Also, I'm too cheap to pay for hosting right now, and I can point my domain there for free.
