So, in this ep, Metamorphosis, they've been stranded on a desert planet with only a 150-year-old space explorer dude for company, having been lured there by a giant ball of electricity.

at this point they've figured out that Giant Electric Ball has been keeping Space Explorer Dude as her lover all these years. SED's all like, huh?

( So Spock has to tell Mr. Spaceman what Love is. )

please god don't let her discover ds9, i hate sci fi, fandom, space hotties, aja hates freedom, um well i actually love odo :|, oh aja, spock is just like tezuka in a way

Ok, dumb question (as I've never watched Star Trek in any form whatsoever).

Is your commentary what's actually going on? Only with a bit of implied slash? :O

So far, I've pretty much been recapping the eps with lots of snark, but the recaps have always been actually what's going on, haha - moreso in this ep in particular because it's less about snark, I just found Kirk's reactions during this whole episode really revealing. Everything in quotes is a direct quote from the script.

He is the doctor. And his actor and another character's actor (ONE of the two that he's slashed with all the time) were like, "Uh, of course we play them physically attracted to each other" at cons.
