Our movie night was fabulous last night. Everyone loved Bride & Prejudice and a bunch of people stuck around for Bend it Like Beckham. And then after that we all just kept hanging out and talking, and we wound up discussing, among a host of other things:

1. I think I'd be a good point. I'm organized and methodical, etc. It might exaggerate my perfectionist tendencies, though. Second option: architect.
2. Stylishly individual. I definitely think he's going for a certain vintage style: '50s card sharp. I don't have a problem with it and my Arthur doesn't really either. And regardless, whatever he does, it's not accidental.
3. I have a number of fics I love to re-read for happies, but right now my top choice is probably Aleesha's "Bliss.".
3.14 Arthur/Eames: It's no accident how Eames is shown getting under Arthur's skin and how Eames is shown reacting to him in a way that's totally unlike his reactions to anyone else we see. And I choose to believe that is not random sniping; that is the prickliness of a couple who either had something and might again, or who just haven't had something yet. I would even go so far as to say that they're like the metaphorical "left brain" and "right brain," both needed to form the whole.

1. I would probably build a cityscape with a Central Park-like area in it. I love architecture, and I love open, grassy/foresty areas. I would have a real mishmash of architectural styles and probably a lot of the architectural features that I really love, like archways, bridges and tall, thin buildings ♥ Very possibly next to the sea

1. My favourite projection is BAMF!Mal. I enjoyed seeing her crazy badass potential as Saito's henchwoman, when she stabbed Ariadne in the gut and when she shot Robert

1. When you first saw the movie, how long did it take you to realize the first scene (in Saito's apartment) was actually a dream?
2. Do you think a person's specialty in the dream industry (architect, point, ect.) is fixed or can one switch depending on the job?
3. Could Eames and Arthur ever actually settle down or does their work make that impossible?

1. I absolutely cannot remember - I think the first time we get a glimpse of the riot going on outside I was like, uh oh, must be a second dream - but I wouldn't swear it at all

2. That's not wishy washy at all, but now I have a follow up question: Since Eames has a very specific skill/role that canon suggests isn't always needed, do you think he works only in the dream industry, or does he work when called upon, but also pursue other super illegal things?

3.14. Oo, can you (or anyone!) rec any poly fic* that's more relationship-focused? I've only been able to find PWP on the kinkmeme -- which is awesome -- but sometimes I want more than pegging and double penetration. Only sometimes!
