Our movie night was fabulous last night. Everyone loved Bride & Prejudice and a bunch of people stuck around for Bend it Like Beckham. And then after that we all just kept hanging out and talking, and we wound up discussing, among a host of other things:

However angry, crazy basement Mal just makes me sad.
2. I believe that Eames does have tattoos, but definitely not the same as THard's. Since he's a forger and much of his life revolves around being others, I think he has tattoos that remind him of specific meaningful events in his own life.
3. Since Eames is my favourite character I'll go with him. My favourite characterization of Eames in fandom is how he came from meager beginnings and created a life and a career just by following his wits and instincts. I adore strong and capable self-sufficient Eames, but that's canon isn't it?
Not a huge fan a sexual harrassment Eames. While I enjoy lecherous and cheeky Eames sometimes it goes from charming to sleazy and that's just no fun anymore. I feel like he's too smart and composed to be as gross as he can be portrayed. It's a fine line with me though.
3.14. I wish I could discuss Inception in class. I would love to get into an existential discussion of what constitues reality. And whether we can all create our own reality regardless of whether other's accept it to be true. If Cobb didn't actually wake up and lived a happy life with his kids in the dream who are we to say that isn't real? So I guess it would be about the subjectivity of reality between the dream world and the "real" world.
