Omg I died. This story is adorable, I love it. I'm really interested in what Cas and Gabe were actually arguing about at the diner if Gabe was aware that Dean liked him. But other than that, looove it. Cas is so perf, I can't even deal.
I really like this. They actually sat down and had a conversation, like adults. No drama, no schmoop, I could just eat this up with a spoon. I actually facepalmed when Cas admitted that he couldn't tell Gabe was being sarcastic about Dean's interest in him. :'D Other than that, he was perfect in this, though.
It's a shame about the Sherlock reference, it throws you out of what is happening here with these characters, making you expect some parallel to something in that tv series, it's so distracting, I don't think I'm going on with this one.
