Harry Potter may be a very nice boy, but he's far too easily influenced by people like that rude Ron Weasley. You wouldn't believe what I overheard them planning to do today; it's irresponsible and dangerous.

I really think I'm going to have to stop them myself.

Haa haa.
In order to streamline this conversation, here is your answer: I'm laughing because you're cute.

You're cute.
Also, I trust you won't mind if I do without the comfortable background color now that you are familiar with the way I speak.

You must be a troll. Not one of the ones from my world, of course; they're quite different from the ones I've seen here.

Dangerous? What are they planning to do?

Sneak out in the middle of the night, to meet some Slytherin boy and duel him.

A duel? What kind of duel?

A wizard's duel. As if either of them know enough spells to have one. It's incredibly childish.

Are you going to explain what they're planning to do?

Duel a Slytherin, in the middle of the night.

I don't see anything wrong with that.

It's against the rules!

How dangerous?

bookishnettler September 13 2011, 18:35:39 UTC
Quite dangerous, if they get caught.

hands4healing September 13 2011, 22:47:42 UTC
So it's worse if they get caught? It's not dangerous if they don't?

I don't think they could do much damage to each other. They won't be good enough at magic yet.

Hermione, ah -- while I appreciate your sentiment, perhaps it would be better to involve an adult.

I thought about telling Ron's brother who's a prefect, but if anyone else finds out who knows how many House points they'll dock. If I can stop them on my own, no one will have to worry about that.

I have to imagine that any responsible adult would see the maturity in your actions and award you points as well for behaving correctly instead of trying to deal with this yourself.

But they two of them would still lose points for trying to go ahead with it.
