Safety-wrapped or not, he threw them with enough force that the box opened and the razors came out, so whatever safety precautions there were could have broken as well. It just doesn't seem like the smartest idea to throw a box of razors at someone in anger.
hmm i remember reading this. thinking back, there was a scene where guy runs up to tell her brother (david?) about her cutting and she's asking him not, to which his response is just, tell me why you cut yourself or i'm telling him right now. which really couldve been right then, because they were standing outside of his office. that scene didnt really sit well with me. i can't really say that it gets better, because i read it some time ago, but i did like the parts that had to do with her brother and their situation. i actually think i liked that best of all, along with guy's group of friends--save for one character. but the ending, i didn't like. it was a hmm okay moment for me. i see what the author was trying to do, but it didn't really come across as well as i guess she thought it had. but the cover is cool, i'll give it that.

They are in a box... and each individual razor has a bit of cardboard wrapped around it.. either glued together or with stickytape?
Don't see the issue with that at all.
