A friend of mine has been raving about Christine Feehan. I caved, read the first book, and promptly gave the two I bought away. UGHH!

For werewolves, Blood and Chocolate, 99% for the ending since I remember it being pretty awesome right up till then. Gotta love a book that tricks you into thinking it's about tolerance and the power of true love, and then hits you with a last-minute sneak Aesop of, "Actually, you should probably stick to your own kind."

Haha, right? If it wasn't for that awful ending, I would easily rank it as one of the best werewolf books out there.

I loved this book when I was younger but I never considered the ending in that light before.
