That's sad cause it has an awesome cover. Good covers deserve good stories. And good stories deserve good covers.

Agreed. I wonder if the cover of bad books would be just stick figures drawn in crayon on a piece of lined paper.

They should be. I think all books should have covers that reflect how good or bad they are. I have often been fooled by a pretty cover.

The whole idea of the book sounds pretty good, but if the execution is 'meh'... Then I don't know. Seriously, though if the plot came back around with better writing and characters, I'd say it would have the makings of a cult classic, you know?
