Dostoevsky should never be assigned as a break reading project, especially not in highschool. I love his writing, but it's complex, and if you expect people to LEARN something from it, it needs to be discussed in sections. Grrr. Dumb teachers.

Ha, yeah. If we had a teacher there to help and were discussing it in bits it probably wouldn't have been so bad.
