Required Reading Fail: Notes From The Underground
Had to read this over the summer in...10th grade I think. It was dull and confusing and I don't think anyone in my class actually enjoyed it. I also seem to remember that we all promptly failed the assignments based on it when we got back to school, and those that didn't only got by making stuff up about the book.
I only got by in that assignment by reading the Sparknotes because I couldn't actually tell quite what was going on while reading the actual book.
