I was going to say that maybe the whole mind-wipe/new family thing is unethical given the whole "It's a terrible shame not to die in battle" thing, because Worf's brother would be all shamed even though he didn't know it, but then I remembered all the other times the show comes up with reasons why this isn't such a big deal (like the first episode of Enterprise: You were a spy all along, but you didn't know it! So it's OK!). I'm starting to think dying in battle is the Klingon equivalent of jury duty.
