Your fic was one of my favorites this Yuletide. I loved the job you did with Christopher's POV; you got his voice just right, as well as his deliberate use of the bemused expression.

Aw, thank you so much! I really enjoyed writing Christopher's voice. Diana Wynne Jones is one of my most formative authors, and I tend to accidentally model after her anyway, so it was nice to have the excuse to do it deliberately . . . and I do always wonder about what's going on inside the smooth Chrestomanci facade that we get from other POVs, in the books where he's an adult.

This has been an unusual Yuletide in that apparently most of the stories written by people I know were ones I hadn't gotten to yet. Looking forward to reading your Chrestomanci story. ;)
