Last time, Jeremy swept the You're Beautiful polls with a nearly neck-and-neck tie between two outfits, both alike in hilarity! But in the end, I think the victor speaks for itself.

SO MUCH PLAID.

Also as far as I can tell it's actually her pockets hanging out of her shorts in #1, not her shirttails, but to be fair that is also a completely ridiculous look, so.

You may be right, at closer inspection... Which implies she actually CUT THE CUTOFFS HERSELF to get that effect. And I can't decide if that's better or worse! It does show dedication I guess...

Maybe not. I saw an appalling number of pockets-below-cutoffs at Bumbershoot (outdoor music fest) this past weekend.

OH GOD HAVE JUST LOOKED FARTHER DOWN IN COMMENTS

NOOOOOOOO

My mockery of hilariously unrealistic fashion has backfired on me! THIS IS A SAD DAY FOR MYSELF (and for the world.)

Like the previous commenter says, I think contender 1's shorts are just cut to let their pockets hang out from under them. (This is how you know I read fashion blogs, because I've seen this before *COUGH*)

And it's entirely possible Mi Nam is just wearing a jacket where the body is made of different material from the sleeves! ... I also have a vague feeling I've actually seen jackets like this in real life.

That said, I can't decide if the plaid ruffles or the gold bling horrifies me more and thereby CAN'T VOTE. :(

I ... I think I was happier not knowing that the shorts-pockets thing was something people did in real life. @_@ WHY????

It was a tough choice but ultimately the Giant Pile of Plaid™ was just so ridiculous that I had to go for it.

Now you, too, can make your own! All you need is a bolt of fabric and the determination to recognize that four layers of capelet is NEVER ENOUGH.

I think had it only been the pile of plaid I would have gone with the magical gold collar, but it is the fact that it is matched with the turquoise skirt and the checked gloves and the barrettes. I mean you just can't top that. I don't think I could create something that fantastic even if I tried.

Stylist Wang couldn't just go with one overblown element she has to have the whole package.

The best part is that you have to imagine that Stylist Wang just has a whole closet full of this kind of thing. She opens up the door every morning and is like "the giant plaid ruffled stole, or the giant fuzzy leopard-print sparkly stole? Oh, what the heck, I can't choose, LET'S GO WITH BOTH."

The pile of plaid might not have won my vote on its own, but in combination with the other stuff she's wearing... yeah.

It's the gloves, I think, that are the final amazing touch. You might just throw on a stole if you were cold, I guess, but it takes real effort to put on gloves!
