Wicked by Gregory Maguire was an amazing book in itself. However, I didn't like the ending. That may be because I didn't want it to end, or I wanted it to end in a better way. Once you read about the Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, you really get to be on her side, and sympathize with her.

The Big Book of Typographics 2 by Roger Walton is a good edition to the first, but this one focuses more on digital design than print works. Again, good for design students.

The Big Book of Typographics 1 by Roger Walton is a great look-through for design students. I found it in my university's library and couldn't help but get so many ideas just from leafing through it.

Hood by Emma Donahue was an amazing story, and I'd recommend it to everyone, gay or straight. The story is captivating and enlightening at the same time.

More Dykes to Watch Out For by Alison Bechdel is the second book in the series. Just as funny as the first -- maybe even better!
