Hot Sauce Discovery
I just had to share this recent discovery with everyone.
This hot sauce has changed the way I look at hot sauce (and devilled eggs).
Our dear neighbors go to Florida at least 2x a year and this last time we watched over their house, grabbed their mail and watered their lawn and flowers for them.
As a thank you, they brough us back a gift basket from St. Augustine, the place they were at.
In this basket was a bottle of Dat'l Do-It Hot Sauce It's a fabulously hot yet fruity hot sauce that makes devilled eggs even more addictive than normal. I can't make tuna salad, chicken salad or egg salad sandwiches without them.
Our neighbors, having lived in Texas and NC, are sort of amateur hot sauce conaisseurs. I had never had anything on a devilled egg until they introduced me to the spicy goodness that is tabasco on devilled eggs. *drools*
The sauce has got fruit in it, as well as Datil pepper which gives it its signature kick.
I tried some with some avocado last night, it was incredible!!!
Don't get me wrong, I love Tabasco and Frank's Red Hot, but for a little more I have to reach for Dat'l Do-It.
