pomegranates

Pomegranates. I bought two of the fruits today while grocery shopping, and just had my very first experience with eating one of them. First of all, jeney and journeyto, how in the world do you afford to support your habit? Those things are expensive ... at $2 apiece, I really wondered if it was worth it just to try something new. diane is alone in her addiction. well, except now she has you. my most profound experience with a pomegranate was when i spit the seeds at gretchen tate in high school because she liked the same boy i did.

The fact that you knew what a pomegranate was in high school is just plain weird. You are a trend-setter, Jeney. Yup!

First of all, pay no attention to the crazy Californian in the corner of my internet. Eat the seeds! They are excellent fiber if nothing else. :)

Secondly...eat as many as you can. They are in season now, and will never be as good as they are right now. I would prioritize rent, utilities, water, pomegranates. But that's just me.

Did you know that there is speculation that the pomegranate is the fruit Eve ate in the Garden?

My friend Becky was just up here in the apartment, and she reminded me that the Song of Solomon compares breasts to pomegranates. Then she illustrated by sticking one under her shirt! Ummmm.... Suddenly I'm not hungry for another, at least not tonight.

What are you waiting for?! Go try some breast-fruit!

You live! ♥ I've tried to keep the relationship with my guy from pulling me away from LiveJournal ... but to no effect. So I understand your distance too. (Well, some of yours is work-related also.) Hey! Would you care to spill any secrets about my trip to SoCal in 24 days?

Yes, I live!!!! And mainly my LJ absence has to do with not having access during the day - when I get home in the evenings I don't feel an inspiration to write at all - or if I do it's like, "Today I did ____ and I ate ____ and then I went to bed." :) And yes, Aaron is taking up some of my time!!!!!!

Hmmmm, secrets? Secrets? There are secrets? What would I know of secrets? What would I share of such secrets if there are some to be known?

*twinkle*
