The past week, I've been getting up mega-early -- or sleeping through all four alarms, take you pick -- and driving south to my grandmother's nursing home to feed her, brush her teeth, and give her some company in my parents' absence. They were out in Texas getting my brother's stuff from college and looking for the perfect retirement community.
