Holy Week blues

What is it about me and Holy Week? I can recall several years where I've been sick during Holy Week. I've had colds, infections...one thing or another wants to get me down ( Read more... )

Ah, yeah. I always found St. John pretty scary. I think a real Byronic hero would have more ambition and less of a sense of responsibility than Mr. Rochester.

I hope you feel better soon, Bon. That sounds awful! ((((Bonnie)))).

The movie didn't get this across to me, or maybe it's just that I can't fathom someone actually being that cold. It took reading Jane's thoughts to realize the danger she was in.

I'll probably be calling the doctor on Monday if I don't feel better. I don't know what she can do, though. It may just have to run its course.

Hugs you tightly... My gosh, you have such a sad face on that icon. Is the migraine gone? I hope so much that this starts to ease up for you. It's taking too long.

I don't think Mr. Rochester qualifies as byronic, either... a true byronic hero would have let Bertha burn, among other things... St. John is indeed scary. lol.
Hugs you some more...
Did I tell you we are home safe? Drove in just a little while ago.
Hugs,

The icon is courtesy of moo58. She caught me off guard. I was so tired and dropped out of character for a moment. ;) Under the circumstances, I thought it fitting. ;P

The migraine still fights with me. I'm not sure what it is; it may be because everything's so out of whack right now.

Yeah, I'm beginning to lose my patience. I'm ready to be well, dammit.

Mr. Rochester would not have tried to trap Jane as St. John did. He would have let her go. As he said, he loved her too much to be her tyrant.

I'm glad you got home safely. Was the car OK for you?

Yes, the icon is perfect under the circumstances.

I can imagine you are losing patience. It just plain sucks.

The car did not malfuction, that we know of, although the malfunction light is still on. I will be having it checked tomorrow.
