This sorta relates to your post. I read this on Yahoo today and it's the truest dating advice I'd ever heard. I know it's hard to do - I'm in the same boat - but we just gotta keep trying ( ... )

Hey B.V., good you you for being an upstanding guy! I'm sure the shyness will go away with practice (and when you really meet the right person, you won't be able NOT to ask her out) and as long as you aren't leading this person on, it sounds ok to me... I can't relate to the creepy factor so much, but I do know that I tend not to date the 20-somethings or under boys because, well, they're silly! I'm sure the girls aren't much different.. ;-)
