I heard it that way too! I was sharing the stupid with husband who said, "no, they can't have said that. There's continuity and stuff. No-one could be that stupid." Of course, he hasn't actually seen any of Bonekickers yet.

And also, doesn't the number of coops in a row diminish the higher you get? It's a dome structure after all.

None of the maths in this scene made any sense to me, and I know there's something wrong when I can't suspend my disbelief enough to stop myself doing calculations for five minutes afterwards.

My single favourite bit was the "Channel 5 series" line in which the Beeb lyingly claims to be above buying the rights to any and all books about historical fucking. And there was serious competition, oh yes.
