[For the past couple of days Kevas has been doing some thinking. Ever since Mimmi told him that Zhaneel had killed her he's had trouble getting it off his mind. He still doesn't know what he's going to do about this. He'll just have to see how it plays out.]

[Zhaneel watches as her capybara stops to smell some flowers, snuffling at them noisily before sneezing. The gryphon chortles softly in amusement, but pauses as she hears a familiar voice call to her.

Ear tufts flicking in his direction, Zhaneel's gaping grin begins to fade as she watches him. He looks so serious standing there and she shifts uneasily from one foot to another.

Her own tone is curious as she tilts her head slightly.]

[She shifts a bit, feeling anxious without having done anything to warrant it. Anything besides going on a slaughtering spree, that is ..]

He folds his arms over his chest, doing his best to keep his hands away from his swords and revealing how uncomfortable he is. Normally things like this are easy for him. Someone crosses the people he cares about so he kills them but here, well, Zhaneel is one of the people he cares about or at least one of his closer companions in this place.]

[Zhaneel bobs her head, knowing well how Kevas enjoys his drink. However, he seems almost .. uncomfortable and wary around her and she fidgets in response. Her capybara trots over on her toes, grunting softly at the troll in question, its gaze moving between and and Zhaneel and back again.

Any amusement in Zhaneel's posture flees the moment he speaks again, and her ear tufts pin back against her skull. She was not expecting this, even as much as she was expecting this. She had been avoiding people for this very reason, not wanting any form of confrontation. He beak opens and closes again with a click and a soft keen slips past it as it opens again.

Silently, she's judging distance .. gauging if she has any chance if he decides to act. While she ponders that, another part of her relaxes and she simply surrenders to it. If he wants to kill her, he'll have no fight on his hands.
