I like that even the pastel baby ones you picked aren't TOO pastel-y. They're like, muted light colors. Nicely done.

The Wasabi wool is probably my favorite of the bunch. It looks absolutely fantastic.

You're right, they're definitely not the scary sickly sweet that a LOT of baby things are - and theoretically would go well with stronger accent colours.

The Wasabi is seriously EPICAL in the lace weight 'silk cloud' GAWDS its a nommable colour.

I love the look of this:
Ancient Forest on Elizabeth Bennet from Shop Yarn Love

and the subtle variation of colour in:
Red Delicious on Scarlett O'Hara from Shop Yarn Love

I wonder if they feel as good as they look?

Hi!

I see you appreciate lovely yarn, however, it might be considered stealing to use the copyrighted images of these businesses. Just something to consider. And Yarn Love knows that you are using these.

just thought you might like to know :-)

Uh, so:

A) All the images are stated as being theirs, they're clearly credited.
B) All the images are linked back to the pages they're from so its easy for people to go directly there and buy them.

This is a post saying "Here are some delicious yarns, go buy them." Its free publicity, and I'm furthering their advertising without them having to pay a jot. I'm GLAD that they know, and am not shocked since I've linked them liberally so they should have clear trackbacks available on their server stats. GOOD to know that they're using them, and I'm sure they'll be mightily chuffed to know that people are pimping their products, and pimping them PROPERLY.

yes, you posted them all very nicely, and tastefully, and lovingly, it's true.
however, did you ask for permission to use copyrighted photos? did you contact Yarn Love and the others to see if it's okay? i think the permission part is the key, regardless of how the copyrighted pieces are presented. copyright is a pretty big thing these days, and sadly, people can get into legal trouble for it.

just wanted to make sure you have thought about possible consequences of posting these pictures.

best,
Gaia
