Its Walrus time! :D

Brought to my attention at anachrotech:
The Difference Engine: In Lego.

HOW AWESOME!

Oh god. Its only 10:34am and I'm SOOOO BORED! I'm trying to do personal work (stuff for binka_boo for her play for example) but it feels OHSOWRONG!™ to be doing that on work time THIS early in the morning. If it was maybe 3pm or so I'd not be feeling so bad ( Read more... )

did you go to spotlight?
They have very nice balls of wool ($6.50 a ball australian merino wool) & other assorted balls for 75c each.
I don't think I have anything to wear either, FABULOUS! is quite hard to live up to plus it is probably going to be cold.
Maybe I should continue the hunt for brown heels.
Pretty + touchy feely fabrics rock.

Yeaps I did. We were in Lincraft for a bit looking for thread for Jill, and then she suggested we go looking in Spotlight for stuff for me to make a top out of.

Ooooh! I didn't know that about the wool! Oh well, I just spent WAY too much on fabric anyway so I guess I shouldn't be also looking at woolses. Thanks for letting me know though :D

Your black corset + some gorgeous but warming shawl perhaps? And IS it going to be cold? I wasn't sure and kinda hoped it would be atleast cool because what I want to make has sleeves. *laughs* I'm thinking I'll make the sleeves detatchable though.. not sure.

Mmmmm. Brown Heels. <3 That was my other dilemma, I really don't have any shoes for this kind of occassion, so I'm going to have to go with my brown sandals with the beads on them.

YES THEY DO! <3

I'm in exactly the same situation. All my tasks are complete and I don't know when I'll be assigned another one. At least in adelaide there was always /something/ to do, even if it wasn't particularly appealing.
I don't even have any "personal" work to do!
:)

Buying fabric is teh fun. Except I buy it and then don't use it. ^^; *watches it all pile up in a box, and then spill out into the cupboard* ...

*laughs*

I've got a huge useful box (wicker like on playschool!) full of fabric and two cupboards besides, and I still buy it XD But you never have exactly what you need for a clothing project for yourself! *laughs* I console myself with this one that I can use the excess for outfits for my dolls :D

Whoops! That was me, I forgot to login! I'm so used to being on my own laptop anywhere I am in the world that I forget to check if I need to login *giggles*
