Being slightly deaf

Today (and yesterday) I've been slightly deaf. My ears need rinsing by at my GP (which will be done by her assistant again, I think). So since Wednesday evening I've been having to prepare for this by having to drip oil in both my ears (olive oil, I only have olive oil and peanut oil, and the latter is too viscuous). I like to use Almond Oil - nice and gentle for the ears. I too have ear problems, although it tends to be the lack of wax, not too much :(

Oh, I've been there. I've been told to oil my ears over a weekend every 4-6 weeks since I have particularly narrow/twisty ear canals. I've just this past week done it for the first time since Autumn. Oops.

Ain't ears weird? ;)

Good luck, and I totally sympathies with the deafness, oiliness, disorientation and surprise at the various stages!
