I started reading the book Cold Mountain a few days ago. I haven't had a lot of time, but so far it's pretty good. Only 26 pages into it, but still.

It's a snowstorm!  There's so much snow here and it's gorgeous :)

Well, a lot of snow for here, anyway.  I suppose a foot doesn't actually count as that much....

But it's the first snowstorm of the season and the first one since I've been at college, so it's pretty exciting!

 It's Christmas Eve here and it's positively lovely.  There's no snow yet (boo) but we're supposed to get some tomorrow.  And my grandparents came for Christmas--first time they've spent the holiday with us in five years, since it's a bit of a drive.  And one of my sisters is four and a half, which makes the whole holiday that much better.  Right ( Read more... )
