GV finally announced the line-up.

First impression: WAY better than last year.

Second impression: This needs to go back to a 2 day festival.

Third impression: I hated that I let myself wishfully hope for Blur when I knew it was never going to happen (there was legit talk this would be a warm-up to London but it was a long shot.) And also hoping for ( Read more... )

When the headliner (at least on KROQ) was Paul McCartney I thought Coachella jumped the shark

People thought it jumped the shark when Madonna played. Or Jack Johnson headlined. Or when Radiohead hasn't played every single year. I think it's cool Paul is on the bill this year.

And...that saves us another $1k+. There is absolutely no band I would go for. Bands I would see were I there...but no band I must see.

I think Matt and I need to start saving so we can go to Reading again next year. I miss GOOD festivals. Coachella now blows.

How'd you go at Amoeba?

Trips me out when I saw Amoeba on Guitar Hero World Tour and I could be all lame and "I've been there!" lol
