Coachella 2012 was way more mellow than last year. And it rained! The weather was the coolest on record for Coachella. At one point, I was so frozen on Saturday due to the icy wind, I started walking back to the car during Radiohead so I could warm up. The T in the Park line up this year kills me.

JAMES, Keane, Snow Patrol, Franz Ferdinand, the Killers, BLUR… If only DD were added, then I think I’d explode.

Damon and Graham performed last Thursday together for the first time publicly in 10 years at the NME awards. Amazing… sigh.

This was one crazy experience. Getting very little sleep, waking up early, getting a ride to the polo fields, running from the main entrance to where they sectioned off the mojave and dance tent. Hearing Madonna sound check and then bam…

On the way to the Home Depot Center, a venue I’d never been to, on the crowded 405 on a fine Friday evening, blasting the Liberty album by Duran Duran, I hear an odd whacking noise. Turn down the music and realize it’s coming from my car. Eddie and I both think it’s one of my tires.
