Jesus might throw a big party, and Buffy would avoid parties. *g*

I would say one of the options involving less planning for you, because I know you're good at it, and you're a wonderful! host, and you love to get to see people, but there's potential for stress anyway. This party/getaway is for you and Ron!

Would you really have to tell people why you were working hard on the backyard?

I wouldn't have to tell "people," but I would have to tell Ron, who would be the subject of the surprise, and would be working his little butt off to build a deck and raze the ground in time to... do what, exactly?

Ohhh, duh. Of course. Yeah, that's tricky. :)

Also, I don't have a stressful life at all. I have no kids, I have a job I like, and every evening I spend lovingly tending to my TiVos, pruning and feeding them. So, planning something is no big whoop, and I love to do it. I love to see all of you, or whoever I get to see.

Another option I forgot is to plan something with my brother involving Hollywood. Or something.

I'm thinking the private trip somewhere is best (I'm a hopeless romantic, though, which influences that choice). The cheesy person inside me thinks recreating your first date (even if you travel somewhere else) would be kinda fun. Heh.

Then again, throwing a party, big or small, could be fun.

[Don't tempt me to go down there! I need all my willpower to be focused on school.]

Tell you what- I'll write of our first date, and you can tell me if I can attempt to recreate it ( ... )

I ws trying to think of a theme based on ten, but it's eluding me. Ten things I hate about you (but they'd actully be things you love), 10 dates we never had, 10 moments I can't imagine without you. Argh -- it's not gelling.

Maybe 10 things we've never done before in San Diego but should have? I can think of a bunch, but it would have to be spread out over at least a couple weeks, if not 10 weeks.

I like the idea of the trip to Catalina. Then again, I've always wanted to go to Catalina.
