I'm alive. Japan on Monday.
I get to Tokyo on Tuesday then I'm heading to the Osaka/Kobe area on the 6th.
I can't wait for some para para, tequila shots, finally being able to speak Kansai dialect again, and being able to say "Sora meccha omoroi wa!" without sounding like a wanna be.
Oh Japan <3 I ALSO CANNOT WAIT FOR OKAA-SAN'S AWESOME COOKING

My friend told me this interesting thing about the Kansai region or Kansai people and I wanted to see what you thought about it--she said that they tend to be a little... less formal? Or more open to outsiders or nicer based on their exposure to them. And that people from, well, Tokyo I guess are a little more "stiff"--not rude, but more formal and reserved. Is that true, in your experience?
I'M HAPPY YOU'RE GOING BACK~! For how long?

Meanwhile clubs I go to in Tokyo will have less people coming over.
I haven't lived in Tokyo though so I can't really say, but I can say people aren't as funny or loud in Tokyo.
I'm going back from the 4th to the 21st. I wish it was longer, but work gets in the way :(
