Please remain calm.

Following the previous night's broadcast, it is now nearly certain that the hypothesis previously formulated was correct.  Our current situation is the result of the liberation promised to us on the morning of the fourth of July.  Before anger is directed at the glorious party leader over the recent events, it would be wise to ( Read more... )

Yes. I am presently human, Massimo. I am aware of the natural feeling of anger and outrage at this course of affairs.

I am also aware that expression of this anger will lead only to more deaths and injury.

No one is going to listen to you.

People are, at their core, animals. And when threat is applied to their own, they lash out. Even when it's incredibly stupid to do so.

Just how people are sometimes. Dumb animals.

On one level, that is true. It is, however, important to note the distinguishing feature that separates a human being from an animal.

And what do you necessarily believe that is?

It is not a matter of belief. The human species is the only one capable of self-improvement. Auto-evolution.

Don't tell me how to feel! I don't care--I don't care!

I'll find them! I'm going to kill them!

You will only be punished. You may cause others to die. You will delay the restoration of Mayfield to its normal state.

I am angered as well. But I will also be angered at those who are unable to reason and, through their actions, perpetuate our present state of affairs.

I don't care. I don't care. I don't care! Why should I care? No one else--there's no one left!

Shut up. You're not angry--you didn't lose anything!

. . . . . .

If I have not lost anything, it is because I have never had anything in the first place. But you are incorrect.

I agree.

But you can't lead the unwilling, Yuki. Let them go. Let them fail, and let them learn.

. . . Yes. But it does not hurt to issue an injunction.

Yuki, even if they want saved us from Mayfield, they brought us to a much worse place. If they wanted to save us, they would have returned us to our real homes. Killing and maiming the people they save? I will never call these people my Allies.

There is a human idiom: 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'. At present, we are all working to return Mayfield to its former state. In that capacity, it would be foolish to fight against both our 'liberators' and our former authorities.

I'm sorry. I must have misheard you, I thought you said we should ally with the Party leader.

I agree, helping them get us out of her is of top concern, but how do we do that?

. . . A logical first step may be to locate them.
