Tossing and Turning

I suppose I didn't sleep well because of yesterday's chemical cocktail. That I slept during the majority of my hospital visit probably didn't help. Of course, it could have been the young man who lives in the basement flat under us. He had the uncanny idea that practicing his electric guitar after midnight was a good thing. Needless to say I ( Read more... )

I'm sorry for your restless night...I hope this one is better.
Computers can be nasty little buggers, can't they?
oooohhh, I do hope the sculpting went well, on all counts.

Slept like a bug-in-a-rug last night and woke up early enough to have tea with Froggy before he left for work :-). I've removed the offending RAM from my laptop and I'm training myself to get used to the stone age. If I turn it on and then potter around the apartment, finishing my tea, brushing my teeth, etc., then it's usually up and ready to go by the time I get back to the couch.

To be honest I didn't get my sculpting out yesterday, I couchbutted instead. However, my mum has asked me to make her a garden gnome which I will start this morning. I'm feeling much better after a full night of sleep. it's a beautiful, blue sky day today.

Glad to hear of a restful sleep for you. I'm sure the morning tea was lovely!
As I've said before, there is nothing wrong with couch-butting!
A garden gnome sounds quite the challenge. You'll have to take some pics.
I can totally understand the pain and frustration of stone-age computers. We live in a very rural area, and high-speed, dsl and the like are not available here. We have sllllooooooowwww dial-up and at best only connect at 28.8 kbs (which honestly, I have no idea it's meaning). It can take hours sometimes to get big emails or such.

have a nice day.
*hugs*
