WoWism: Back when I played EQ, I was ALWAYS DROWNING. I was incapable of ever correctly working the controls to swim so if I didn't have a breathing potion, I was toast. I recently discovered I have the issue in WoW and it cracks me up every single time. What's particularly amusing is that for years I was truly aquaphobic after nearly drowning as a child. I do swim now (slowly and carefully) but I am sure this is related to my inability to swim in games.

Also, y1k3z and I bake all the time and I find it fantastically fun. She's a bit older than Maggie, of course, and I still find I have to weed out the "boring" parts and do them on my own and/or beforehand, but overall, I've been pleasant surprised by just how helpful a four year old can be.

I definitely plan to bake a lot with Maggie! She seems to enjoy it so far, though it's largely over her head.

It can be weird swimming in WoW. I find I absolutely have to be zoomed out into chase camera to do it. Also, note that my two highest characters have, respectively, a water-breathing form and an underwater breathing spell. ;)

I watched the men sing on AI this week, and I have the women on Tivo. I've never watched that show before, and I was unimpressed. Also a bit disturbed by the thing where I kept agreeing with Simon - except on one point. I preferred Brett's take on Jamiroquoi becuase he did the song differently. Chris did Jason Mraz exactly like the original recording. How Simon didn't see this is beyond me. Is Chris is Simon's annointed amongst the men?

I may just go back and watch an old episode of Rockstar: Supernova that I still have on my Tivo.

WoW was fun the other night. I'll probably be on for a bit tonight, but I'm not sure when yet. Thanks for the autorun tip. I already figured out that / was not the answer to that question. ;) I may be one of the the few people in the history of EQ2 to have died in town. I drowned in the moat in North Queynos...

You were umimpressed because they were overall unimpressive. The judges are so contradictory: "You have to stretch yourself, that was too safe" and then "oooh, that was way too big for you." Don't play it safe, but at the same time don't try anything too difficult. Buh?

Chris R. is one of the more "commercial" guys, and Simon often likes that. (At the same time, they're looking for a "unique" sound. Again, contradictory.)

I'll keep an eye out for you in WoW. M has been cranky since, oh, gosh, 3-ish, so not sure how free I'll be to play. :)
