Sure thing! Let me just get ANY of my welcome e-mails and then I'll PM you some name choices?

No problem. I registered on the first damn day, though. So it is annoying that people who registered on days two and three already have their welcome e-mails, since beta account registration was done on a theoretical 'first come, first served' basis.

I think this is the best explanation I've seen/heard.

Although now that the Beta version is up and running (even though I can't access it because i haven't gotten my welcome e-mail) I have a better idea. Basically you get to register and pick one of five username options. Then, you have to wait for a welcome e-mail (I have...~a few~ spare accounts that as soon as I get my first welcome e-mail I'll give away some of the accounts) but once you get your welcome e-mail you can access the site. At that point, you get sorted and and get a wand, and can choose a pet (owl, cat, toad) and you get to hang out in your common room and you get to read more information that wasn't included in the books about other characters. Apparently there's a lot of information about McGonnagall's life she was younger, etc. Oh and you get to duel with other members and brew potions and can win/lose points for your house.
