I've never had pesto. As for red meat, yeah; I eat several cows-worth per month, probably. I like whole grain breads, but Teri doesn't, and she does the grocery shopping more often than I do.

Add sour cream to the list of things that I won't eat. And mayonnaise, now that I think of it. This is starting to feel like a mental scavenger hunt: "What won't Peter eat?"

It's a miracle that my mother never strangled me as a child.

Maybe the workouts will help. I hope.

I didn't really think of it as a kashi diet, even though I used the word. It's more that the small-meals-every-three-hours thing seemed to be an awkward way to express it. And kashi sounded healthy. I'm definitely going to throw in a lot more variety, now.

Charlie Bucket? Did Roald Dahl live in vain?

Hmm. Okay, I just never thought about Charlie having a last name. :)

At some school or other we had the book read to us, and I saw the movie with Gene Wilder. Had no real desire to see the recent one; it looked, uhhh, somehow wrong. And (as many critics noted, but I thought independently) Johnny Depp seem to more than anything be playing Michael Jackson. Oh well...
