That is weird.

Oddly enough, 80% of the time when we're eating at a restaurant, when the waitron brings me a refill, it's diet. I've taken to preemptively reminding them that it should be regular. I can't stand diet.

Although I only drink soda when I'm in a restaurant, by the way. I know it's basically a giant liquified sugar cube. :D

I loooooove Kashi. Try it with soy milk instead of skim. That might be more filling. Oooor try oatmeal. *firm nod* Oatmeal in the morning will probably help make you feel less hungry because it just takes so damn long for your body to process it.

I used to do oatmeal...actually, I liked it. But it was the instant brown sugar and maple kind, so it's probably really bad for me. :(

Soy milk scares me. I am fearful! Milk from beans? That's just not right!

Well, you became an initiate of the Diet God and when you tried to break the cult taboo you were attacked by a Spirit of Retribution.

Does that mean I lost a point of power when I started my diet?

Well...maybe. Willpower, that is.

Have some **cking real food!

I understand the need to lose weight, it's a battle I've fought off and on for years.

I personally think the all kashi all the time meal plan is doomed to failure.

Breakfast options: Real slow cooked oatmeal with dried fruit to sweeten, nonfat yogurt with fresh fruit, turkey sausage and fresh fruit.

Email me for lunch options, I'll even send you my famous garlic chicken recipes. :)

I would love slow-cooked oatmeal. I just need to find a way to actually have time to do that. I'm getting up at 5:50 AM these days (well, today the boy woke us up at 5 AM requesting breakfast), so I'd probably have to start waking up at...let me see...I have to take Prilosec first thing, and then wait half an hour before eating, which means that I'd have to get up at...5 AM, I guess.

Maybe the boy knows what he's doing.

I make my oatmeal on Sunday or Monday evening, and then pack it up in tupperware for the week. It's definitely better fresh, but you do what you can.

I always bring a book. A bathroom isn't truly civilized without a library.
