Well I documented a crazy day of mine which started at 8AM one day and ended at 8AM the next day (that's when I woke up & slept).. Is it okay to post that?

As long as you did not sleep more than an hour or two and the whole thing is 24 hours or less, it's all good. :)

Hello : ) I got an email saying my post was accepted and successfully posted, and it had a link. I clicked said link, and it said "error - no such entry" and it's not showing up on the ADIML page. Is there a wait time for it to be posted after it's accepted?

Hi there. Sorry it took me so long to answer. Busy day.
Anyway..that usually happens when the mod posts your day and then noticed your lj cuts are screwed up and doesn't want to spam the community waiting for a fix (we can't fix your cuts).
Sorry that happened. Feel free to re-submit. Watch those cuts. :)

Ok thanks! I tried it out on my own LJ and my cuts worked fine, so this is weird. Will make changes and resubmit! Thanks : )

You were rejected due to not having your age posted on your info page (and before you tell me I'm wrong and stupid, make sure you have it VISIBLE to non-friends).

I just wanted to say that I was completely wrong about you and that I am so so so so so sorry.

People bitch and moan about how uptight ADIML's rules are and I now know they are for a reason. Now that I'm a mod of my own community and I see how ridiculous people are and how they blatantly ignore every rule, I've realized that I got you all wrong. You have a tough job. People are fucking idiots and whiny brats. You try to do a good thing, be nice and they bite you in the ass.

Anyways, you have a thankless job. So I'm thanking you for keeping everything together. Have a good day, bobbysan.

Wow! Thank you very much. I do admit I get frustrated and tell people off sometimes and I probably shouldn't but I really do appreciate this message. I've lost so many mods who just plain gave up on trying to keep the communities going and getting chewed out all the time. So again, thank you so much for this.

Not even a little. Didn't you and someone else start a new adiml type community when you got mad at me or something?
There have been 5-6 who have done that so far so I may be confusing you with them. I even had one start one of dead journal and stole almost everything off our community info page to boot. :)

It's really tough modding because if you give people slack, they run right over you but if you are strict, your a dick. And how do you find an in-between? I'm usually polite to the first 20 people who do the same thing over and over that we ask them not to do..but then I get pissed and that's my own problem I should work on. But I love the idea of this community too much to just roll over and let it become a spam-journal like so many have become.
But seriously..thank you for this. It's appreciated.

I am sorry to bug again, but I am really confused as to why mine still didn't get posted. I seriously tried to follow all the rules. In case you do not recall which one mine was, it is in my journal, the 3rd most recent entry. Anyway, I would really just like to know what I am doing wrong.

I have no idea. You know how many posts I go through running two communities? I don't remember anything about your post. I'm sorry.
Check the posting rules just before you post and ask yourself if it's correct. That's all I can offer. Sorry again.
