[Her first reaction is horror. Especially when the blood and dead cat come into the picture.]

[And then she just becomes ANGRY, so we'll just be calling you back now.]

What the bloody hell was that little display supposed to be?!

[Oh, an angry young woman? How pleasant. He smiles. His tone could put a mockingbird's to shame.]

It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance as well, young Miss.

I take it that the little 'display' was not to your pleasure? My deepest apologizes.

[Yeah, no... we're not pleased. In fact, we're of the opinion that this guy has some serious problems. Reminds us of a certain witch with a penchant for torture.]

No, it most definitely was not. What even possessed you to do such a thing in the first place?

[Just... staring, while resisting the urge to feel ill. Right now, he doesn't have anything to say.]

[Could possibly care less about the reactions of others, but he would never hang up so rudely. Have a courteous nod as a means of greeting.]

The weather is quite lovely today, is it not?

It's fine.

[That probably came out as somewhat angry--but can you blame him, really?]

... Frankly, I'm more interested in what you just did.

[And his tone of voice makes it clear that he's not pleased at all.]

[On the contrary, the tone of his voice seems quite pleased indeed. Have a smile.]

Your interest in my humble actions is quite flattering.

Thank you.

[that wasn't exactly pleasant to see. he's not sure what to make of this man that didn't seem too concerned but can tell he already doesn't like him. he will be speaking as calmly as possible but anyone can tell he is pretty mad]

...Why did you do that?

[Have a smile, since that's, like, his default expression for any given situation.]

Oh? Was it really such a strange thing to do?

Not everyone cuts the eyes out of a cat...Why? [patience may be growing a bit thin]

Oh, but it is not too great of a loss, I would imagine.

[A cheerful smile.]

One could not expect a cat on the brink of death to have any need of eyes.

[There's a pause. Yes, that is his home this is happening at; he recognizes it well enough. The golden hair around the screen leaves him very aware of who this is, and very aware that this is not an accident, whatever it is. Vincent does not have accidents. And this could be nobody but Vincent.

Of course, the largest question is what he is doing, why is Vincent there? And Break is well aware that Vincent being there is not a good thing, not at all.

...Then he sees the books, the cat, the eyes. And he stares.]

[And then Break's teeth clench and he narrows his eyes and he glares. Because...he knows what this is. He's very aware.

It doesn't even matter why. Vincent's motive does not matter now; perhaps he'll find out, but now it is not his priority.

In fact, he doesn't even wish to speak with Vincent. He hates speaking with Vincent on a normal day, but now...Now he fears he will snap and do something that he certainly will not regret, but that might complicate things.

...Bastard.]

[Ah. A head of white and striking red eyes. Exactly the man he was waiting for, it seems. Though he didn't have any particular urge to add anymore to his little display in the form of words.

After all, he was very certain that the message had carried itself to the other man loudly and clearly. Any repetition would simply be in the realm of redundancy.

There was very little to do but to smile.]

[In the face of that smile, Break has no desire to speak. He does not wish to say anything to the other, and truly, there is nothing to say. The message had been quite clear to him, of course, and Vincent knows that very well, he is sure.

There is nothing more to say and there is nothing more for Break to see. He lifts his chin, giving Vincent a cold look. This will not be forgotten, and in this world, who knows how things can change? The playing field might be uneven at the moment, but Break intends to change that, and in his favor.

There is no longer a point to this silent conversation, and so Break turns off the call, never taking his eyes from Vincent's until the screen goes black.

[A grin slowly makes its way across the face of Grell Sutcliff as he watches this video feed.]

I didn't mind this at all.

[Oh, we do like that grin there. Have a cheerful one in return.]

My, a man with impeccable taste, it seems. Such a rarity now-a-days.

It's a pleasure, Sir...?

Grell Sutcliff~ ♥!! [Wink!] Ahh!! To see somebody else who truly appreciates something as breathtaking as blood... It's so refreshing!!

Likewise, Sir Sutcliff. Likewise. Blood is quite the fascinating substance, is it not? With such a rich color to its name as well. Though I see Mr. Sutcliff is well acquainted with such a color, it seems. His way of dress seems naturally fitting.

Vincent Nightray, at your service. Charmed, to be sure.
