For this actor, the accent is on comedy -- Article and interview with Anthony Laciura, who plays Eddie Kessel, Nucky's butler. As for his character, Laciura describes Eddie as Tonto to Nucky's Lone Ranger, albeit a sidekick on the receiving end of a steady stream of abuse. Cowboy analogy --> impending gigglefit.

Michael's Rothstein is my man. Much love to Steve, of course, but...rawr. Milk and cookies in a blue silk dressing gown? I'll take one, please. And an extra, just in case.

Anthony Laciura was in the opera! That's so cool.

There's a fake Nucky blog? Can't say I'm surprised.

I demand to see a milk and cookies scene in an upcoming episode. Even just seeing a glass and a plate off to the side on his desk at home, maybe. That's all I need. He doesn't even have to say, "Charlie, would you like a freshly baked oatmeal raisin cookie? They're quite delicious." And if I don't stop here I'm going to speculate on what kind of cookies AR liked.

Have you read Gangsters and Gold Diggers? That's where I first read about Arnold Rothstein and some of the other "upper-crust" gangsters.

And Fake Nucky can be found here, under the video and the Facebook stuff: http://www.pressofatlanticcity.com/blogs/boardwalk_empire

I love the way he says "Charlie." I want to change my name to Charlie.

I can see him with a whole plate of shortbread cookies. Or macaroons. Maybe dipped in chocolate. ...I can't tell if I'm horny or just hungry.

did read Gangsters and Gold Diggers, but a couple of years ago. I...don't even remember Rothstein being mentioned. I don't think I remember much of anything from that book.

Don't understand why they need that picture of Fake Nucky when they've got a perfectly good graphic of Real Nucky with the newspaper clippings behind him.

Shortbread was actually my first thought.

"Charlie, would you like a chocolate covered macaroon? They came from your favorite bakery on Mulberry Street."

Must stop.
