Oh, I do like this very much! First of all, you're giving backstory for one of my favorite characters, and secondly, you've created Senbonzakura with a tremendously appealing nature and a kick-ass attitude. Excellently done. I await Part II with great anticipation.

Oh wow... Now this was quite something. Trying to imagine the various spirits of the zanpakutou is not easy task, but now it just makes sense that Senbonzakura should be a kick-ass woman. I'd never imagined Byakuya could have had a strong bond with his mother, but now I can see that too... I'm eagerly awaiting for more!!

After watching a million and a half imperial chinese soaps, it just became ingrained in my head that duty-obsessed noblemen are all "to hell with healthy sexual relationships -- I have to take care of my ailing mother! Senbonzakura is so awesome. I absolutely love the way you described her standing out in the rain, and the... the ghostiness (c) of it all. Imagining her standing in the middle of it just staring is quite pretty.

I can't wait for the next chapter, but, uh, I have no solution for your blank stare problem. D:
