[There's a blonde girl sitting on a low wall, looking out at what should be well-known as the Tower of Salvation, a distant structure rising into the heavens, above the clouds. The expression on her face is somewhat distant. Is she... lost? Or just wondering why she's here?]

[As for Renais? Well she's just doing her casual pilgrimage stuff, walking around with nothing but a few day's supply of food and water, a nondescript sword, and an axe with a blade of finest amethyst. And as she passes by the wall she turns to Colette and speaks up.]

I don't suppose this town would have a messenger service, would they?

[The Empire's capital is too far away... with a sea between it and Renais... but at least the vichy of Cumberland was much closer.]

Um, I don't think so. It seems pretty small... I wasn't paying too much attention to that, though. I don't have anyone I'd need to send a message to.

(Gamma steps out of the bus he is riding on and looks around with a cool stare...until his jacket gets caught in the closing bus door. Gamma proceeds to run like a mad man to get out of the door. And is it just you or is he slowing the bus down? Soon Gamma is free from the peril of the bus door and sighs heavily.)

Geez. Bad luck right off the bat. At this rate I don't think I'll find a ring in this town.

This town? Why, this is Redminster. Not surprised you haven't heard of us. The town isn't that big of a name. I'm truthfully surprised to see anyone from out of town. So what brings you here, stranger?

An airport?...Son, you are a far way out from anywhere that would have anything close to that. You'd have to go north for a while just to find an airship, let alone an airport. The most we ever see is a bus.

The Brand lead me here. . .there must be something of interest here.
