TGIF. Can I get an "Amen" over here? Today was hellacious, but next week will be even worse--mainly because I didn't make it hellacious enough for myself this week. *sigh ( Read more... )

Seriously...you spend a week at the Feast of Tabernacles in Colorado, and the only thing you comment on about it is the choir? I know you said you'd be posting music jabber on here from now on, but this is getting ridiculous.

I guess I could post some non-music stuff if you insist. I did change the purpose of my journal to be an outlet for music-speak, but since I acquired enough loyal readers beforeheand, it might be time for some ... fanservice? No ... whatever. The good stuff from Colorado, it is!

I'm so glad your feast went well. The music in Oregon was above par as well. For the most part I was really impressed with how the sound system handeled it too. Often the sound crew screws up what would otherwide be a nice performance. They only did that once this year. Yay for pretty music praising God!

There's more to life than music...? Well, maybe dance...can't think of much else...

Anyway, Happy Sabbath!

I don't get it... crazyspinto October 26 2006, 23:30:12 UTC
I don't get it, really! Who is that weird combination of consonants commenter and do you really expect him to post less on music??? And since there was a fair amount of really beautifully described nature in this post, not to mention fun with friends, what do you all want, more religion or something?

*This* reader wants as much music as possible, with the friendships, drinks, bar games & nature all mixed in. Don't change a thing, please.

Happy Birthday!!!

Actually, I added paragraphs 4-6 after her comment. As for all the consonants--it's a code. A tough one. Took me quite a while to figure out, and that was with translations.

Is this a code I'm supposed to be able to "get"/figure out, or is everyone just beeing pre-Halloween cryptic here?

Help!

It's nearly impossible to figure out just by looking at things written in the code. I'm not sure how much I can divulge (she's the one who came up with it), but "iqisiazsi" is "Sonya."

Apology, and Still the Question... crazyspinto October 27 2006, 14:11:11 UTC
I'm sorry everybody! When I read the post, I found it very interesting and broad ranging, covering alot of topics, mostly music, of course, and alluding to it being some kind of religious event which I don't know about, don't have the 1st clue, really. It seemed that the first commenter was somehow chastising (sp?) him for not writing more about the religious aspect of that experience ( ... )

I suppose I could let Brett answer for himself, and he can feel free to delete/add onto my comment on what this "feast" is. But here goes ( ... )

Peace offering? Not needed, but I'll sure accept it!

I know it's not needed--I bought it yesterday before all of this anyway, but if I can add an excuse for getting it other than a random spur of the moment thing where I saw something you'd enjoy.... well, actually, that's probably a better circumstance, anyway.
